Book Title: A Pirate Tale

Genre: Children’s Books

Summary: In  A Pirate Tale, five small pets make their home on a sailing yacht. (Seriously, who needs people?) One night while on passage, Callie is at the wheel when she spies – OMG – a pirate ship! Read this wee book to learn what happens to Callie and her crew.

Jean Baardsen composed this poem while she, herself, lived on a cruising sailboat. She offers over a decade of adventures in her memoir Voyage: Travels with Tropic Moon.

A Pirate Tale is beautifully illustrated by Inna Nagaytseva. A Ukrainian watercolor artist, now based in Canada, Inna loves to paint the sea, ships, and everything to do with water. Her website is: innanagaytseva.com.
