DESCRIPTION:Hooks & Lines: A Summer Writing Workshop Series\nTransforming a scene into a script with Thomas Kies\n\nEnjoy a light summer sampler of six writing workshops to inspire\, challenge\, and ignite your creativity. \nHooks & Lines: A Summer Writing Workshop Series is a unique partnership between Carteret Writers and Carteret Community College\, designed to cultivate creative expression and inspire writers of all experiences and backgrounds in our community.  These hands-on workshops are an opportunity to explore diverse writing techniques and topics\, connect with other local writers\, and cultivate your creative passion. In the scriptwriting workshop\, Thomas Kies will share how his popular novel series inspired a local theatrical production and how he used the art of scriptwriting to bring Geneva Chase to life. \nThe price for the six-workshop series is $58\, and you can register using Instant Enrollment online\, by calling CCC’s Life Enrichment department at 252-222-6200\, or by emailing boneyh@carteret.edu. The class will be held in Wayne West Rm 113.
