DESCRIPTION:Hooks & Lines: A Summer Writing Workshop Series\nFiction Workshop with Thomas Kies\nEnjoy a light summer sampler of six writing workshops to inspire\, challenge\, and ignite your creativity.\nHooks & Lines: A Summer Writing Workshop Series is a unique partnership between Carteret Writers and Carteret Community College\, designed to cultivate creative expression and inspire writers of all experiences and backgrounds in our community.  These hands-on workshops are an opportunity to explore diverse writing techniques and topics\, connect with other local writers\, and cultivate your creative passion. In the second workshop\, Edgar-nominated author Thomas Kies shows you how to transform real world experiences into engaging fiction while exploring the power of storytelling to connect with readers on an emotional level. \nThe price for the six-workshop series is $58\, and you can register using Instant Enrollment online\, by calling CCC’s Life Enrichment department at 252-222-6200\, or by emailing boneyh@carteret.edu.
